Event information
The Rental Period includes two hours for set-up and clean-up time for event. Rental includes use of tables and chairs to seat 150 persons. Rental fees are:
six (6) hours $1,200.00
seven (7) hours $1,450.00
eight (8) hours $1,750.00
In addition, a refundable security deposit of $500.00 is required. Charges for additional hours will be applied in advance of the event and there is a fee of $300.00 for each additional hour or part thereof over the agreed upon hours
The deposit is due upon the signing of this agreement. The balance is due no later than ten (10) days before the event. All funds are to be made payable to St. Philip's Episcopal Church, if paying by check, or money order.
Cancellation Policy
Refund of deposit if event is cancelled:
90 or more days before the event 100%
45-89 days before the event 50%
30-44 days before the event 25%
Less than 30 days before the event Entire Deposit Forfeited

Indicate your understanding of rental costs
Basic Rules and Regulations for the Use of Martin Hall by Applicant.
1. St. Philip's Episcopal Church is not responsible for any accidents resulting in personal injury during your event. Every event must have its own Event Insurance.
2. Applicant must privately secure insurance coverage for usage time.
3. A copy of the insurance certificate is due no later than with the final payment or the event will be cancelled.
4. Martin Hall may be used by a group of not more than 150 persons.
5. Smoking and sale of alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
a) All events require security coverage. An additional fee for security personnel must be paid prior to the event.
b) The availability of alcoholic beverages must not be the "focal point' of any event or advertising for such
event. Terms such as "cocktail party', wine & cheese party" "beer & wine tasting" are not allowed.
c) Non-alcoholic beverages {e.g. bottled water, soda, fruit juice) must be available at all such functions.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BE SERVED TO (i} ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 21; or (ii) TO ANY PERSON WHO APPERS TO BE INTOXICATED OR IMPAIRED.
i} The sponsoring group for any event at which alcoholic beverages are to be served shall be responsible
for arranging for transportation for any person who appears to be intoxicated or whose ability to drive or otherwise return home may be impaired.
6. St. Philip's must approve applicant's decorations in advance of event.
7. No confetti, No tape on columns or walls.
8. Applicant's guests must use lavatories downstairs.
9. Applicant will inform guests that all other areas of St. Philip's property are off limits.
10. Live music is limited to a five-piece band.
11. The Church Sexton is authorized to monitor the volume at which music is played.
12. Martin Hall will close by 2:00 a.m. on Friday night, and 12:00 a.m. on Saturday night.
13. No cooking is to be done on premises.
14. Cleanup by the applicant is required including removal of decorations.
15. This agreement can be changed only in writing when signed by each party.
16. Applicant is not authorized to stay beyond the contracted hours.

When the Applicant adheres to the above rules and regulations, the deposit of $500.00 will be returned. Any infraction of this agreement may result in complete forfeiture of the deposit. Further action may be taken to apply additional penalties for property damage or for violation of closing time.
