Eligibility Criteria


Nominees must:


  1. Demonstrate a strong commitment to ending sexual violence and/or supporting survivors.
  2. Align with STAR’s mission: to support survivors of sexual trauma, improve systems response, and create social change to end sexual violence.
  3. Have made a measurable impact through their work, volunteerism, leadership, or advocacy.
2025 Champion of Change Nomination Form
STAR is accepting Champion of Change nominations of businesses, organizations, coalitions, survivors, public officials, and other individuals that work to support survivors of sexual violence and trafficking, improve systems response, and create social change to end sexual violence.

Nominations will be accepted until July 31, 2025.

Champions of Change awardees will be honored at STAR's annual gala. This year it will be held in Metaire at the Balcony Ballroom on November 20th at 6:00 pm.
