"I've been working as a call center agent in a Telco account for seven years already, I'm part of the corporate office department and our main objective is to resolve the issue within the call. What I like in my current position is it enhances my call handling skills and confidence in speaking with customers, We usually receive calls from the most distress customers who are fond with their profanity and creative in their insults or provocation, but still, nothing is more fulfilling when they say I love you when you resolved their issues, I know it sounds funny but that's how our job work, we always make sure not only to resolve the issue but to satisfy our customer's needs. It's not a simple task, many customers may disrespect you but I know for the fact most of them are good people, they are angry about the situation but not on you, for me it makes my job easier knowing that I'm not speaking with a hostile person but a friendly person who badly needs help.
I'm working night shifts, 11 PM to 7 AM Philippine time, one of my best achievement is a perfect attendance for the whole year of 2017, that also includes no late's, I'm very proud of it since there are only less than 20 employees who achieved that over thousands of employees within the company, I work hard for it, there are times I feel sick but still do my best to go to work, I was also recognized as a top agent for March 2014.
I have two home-based part-time jobs, I work as an English tutor for both companies, we teach basic English for Chinese who wants to enhance their English communication skills, it's fun and engaging since your on a video call and most of the time your teaching kids, so you must not be boring and must be able to catch their attention to be successful on this type of job."
