STAR is hosting a "Let's Have the Talk" workshop via Zoom on Friday, September 4th from 1:00-4:30 p.m.

This workshop is provided at a discounted rate of $50.

As a result of this workshop, participants will be better able to 1) explain the characteristics of a healthy sexual adult, 2) identify the difference between harmful, unhealthy and healthy sexual behaviors, 3) identify the barriers to talking about healthy sexuality, and 4) apply tools to assist clients with developing a healthier sexual self.

This program is approved for 3.0 Clinical contact hours for social workers by Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response as authorized by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners. This program has been approved for 3.0 General contact hours for counselors. Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6971.

Each person must register separately.
