IMPORTANT: The CNE Program may have some delays in response due to COVID-19 response.
The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) Community Nutrition Educator (CNE) Program is a free service to support community programs and non-profit organizations with general healthy eating and food literacy information. CNEs are volunteers trained by WRHA Public Health Dietitians who provide reliable, unbiased and current information on healthy eating and food to the community.
The goal of the CNE Program is to enhance community food literacy through peer-to-peer education, skill development and promotion of healthy food environments.
* Please allow at least 3 weeks' notice for requests. Some requests may not be filled due to unavailability of CNEs.
* In response to COVID-19, we are offering the option to request online group education. In-person sessions must follow current provincial Public Health guidelines.

Allow approximately 30-45 minutes for a food demonstration. Groceries will cost approximately $15-$20 per recipe (6-8 servings), and are the responsibility of the agency. A basic set of kitchen equipment is required. Food demonstrations can be included with any of the above interactive presentations and supporting activities.
