Entergy Arkansas’ Home Energy Solutions program is offering a WiFi connected Smart Thermostat (Ecobee 4, Alexa Enabled) and professional installation at no out of pocket cost to customers who meet certain qualifications, including participation in Entergy’s demand response program.

How it works:
By participating in a demand response program, you help keep your Entergy bill lower and the electric grid reliable and efficient. Even better, at the end of each year, you will receive a $25 incentive for your participation in the program. You can leave the program at any time by notifying Entergy and returning the equipment.

For most months of the year, your ecobee4 thermostat works like any other advanced thermostat, using your Wi-Fi connection to communicate with weather sources and sensors to keep you comfortable. Between June 1 and Sept. 30 each year, your ecobee4 will alert you before an energy-saving demand response event, and again when it is underway. You will have the opportunity to opt out twice per season.
