"Hi, my name is Kareen Jane Aluba from the Philippines. I've been in the BPO industry for four years now, where I started as a Sales Representative doing cold calling to customers across US and Canada selling male-enhancement pills. I take orders over the phone, creating my pipeline to keep track of customers' supply and eventually having repeat consumers. I also have experience in appointment setting on a cleaning services account.
In August 2018, I started my journey as a Customer Service Representative handling a UK-based furniture company. We sell it in the UK mainland and through different online selling platforms, such as Amazon, Wowcher, Groupon, and eBay. On this account, I have learned to be focused and be detail-oriented since we handle tickets and phone calls all at once. We manage collection/exchange schedules and sometimes do real-time updates on them by communicating with the couriers. I always make sure to have no room for mistakes in entering product details such as SKU numbers, part letters or, part numbers. I also do product listing on eBay of the refurbished items.
The most recent customer service account I have handled was with Walmart. My job wasn't as complicated as the first one since I cater to most customer concerns via email with very few calls. Since this is a one-man account, I've developed working independently and rely on my decision-making skills in providing excellent customer service.
When the pandemic started, we had no choice but to bring our work to the comfort of our home, where I had a glimpse of what it needs to be when working remotely. With my experience, I am confident that I could be a great addition to the team."
