Product Warranty Policy
Here at NorCross Outdoors we understand that life is hectic, sometimes stressful and there is never enough free time. The last thing you need is a fish finder or depth sounder adding to life’s displeasures. That’s why we’ve created the "You Break It… We Fix It…" Warranty.
For 2 years from the date of your original purchase from an authorized HawkEye®, NorChill® or xTreme Rod Bags™ dealer, we will warranty your new HawkEye®, NorChill® or xTreme Rod Bags™ product against any and all damage. Better yet, we promise to make it as painless as possible. All products that were purchased as "Refurbished" or "Outlet" carry a 90-Day Limited Warranty.
For units that have been previously repaired/replaced under this warranty, that time is not extended. The replacement product would only be warrantied for whatever time period was still remaining from the original warranty.
The customer, however, is responsible for any costs associated with warranty shipping.
This warranty is void if damage or malfunction is due to excessive abuse by the customer; abuse, misuse, accident, failure to reasonably maintain, improper installation or use, or unauthorized alteration or repairs. NorCross Outdoors retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the unit at its sole discretion and holds this right as the exclusive remedy available to the customer against NorCross Outdoors for any defect, malfunction, or non-conformity concerning the product, or for any loss or damage resulting from any other cause whatsoever. NorCross Outdoors will respond to all warranty claims within a reasonable time after receipt of the unit from the original purchaser, with such response time not to exceed thirty days without written notification of delay to the customer.
A copy of the original sales receipt showing the date of purchase along with the name of the Authorized Dealer is required as proof of purchase for warranty repairs.
If the problems are related to depth readings, please send the transducer along with the unit when sending for repair. We will not under any circumstances be liable to anyone for any special, consequential, incidental, or other indirect damage of any kind, except where incidental or consequential damages are non-waivable as a matter of law. NorCross Outdoors goes to great lengths to provide the highest quality products, engineered and manufactured under the most stringent regulations in the world. We, therefore, reserve the right to make changes or improvements in our products without incurring the obligation to make these changes on equipment.
Warranty service can be initiated by contacting us by visiting support.norcross-outdoors.com. ALL returns that are shipped back to us without authorization will be rejected.
Repairs Not Covered Under the Warranty: If NorCross Outdoors determines that the defect is not covered under the NorCross Outdoors Limited Warranty, we will contact you about your repair options and associated costs. We reserve the right to deem any product unserviceable if replacement parts are no longer available.
Disputes: All claims and disputes arising under or relating to this Product Warranty Policy are to be settled by binding arbitration in the state of Florida.
This Product Warranty Policy and the rights of the parties hereunder shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida including all matters of construction, validity, performance, and enforcement and without giving effect to the principles of conflict of laws. Any action brought by any party hereto shall be brought within the State of Florida, County of Martin.
