  • SANCTUARY SPACE

It is very important that the foster cat begin their stay in a sanctuary space where the cat can be acclimatized to its new environment over a period of 14 days. This needs to be a separate room with a door and where the cat’s food, water, bed and litter box can be located.

This space will need to ensure that the cat will be isolated from other pets in the home and a quiet space for you to monitor the health of the cat while slowly introducing yourself to them.

This 14-day quarantine is important and helps keep them safe and feeling secure.
  • WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

We would like to know how you’ve handled certain situations in the past or, if you haven’t, how you might handle such situations should they arise.
