2025 Young Executive of the Year Award Application

ReMA’s Young Executive of the Year Award was created to promote the accomplishments of successful young professionals in the recycled materials industry by highlighting their contributions and dedication, along with a high degree of demonstrated leadership potential. The award, established by the Young Executives Council, is designed to elevate the recycled materials industry as an exciting career option open to all and recognize well-rounded young professionals who have a strong track-record of leadership in business and community. Applications from Non-ReMA members will not be accepted/considered. Also, note that prior ReMAYE of the YR award winners are not eligible to be entered again.


Eligibility Requirements:

1. Applicant must be employed by an ReMA member company.

a. Member firms include: Processors, Merchants, Traders, Brokers, Domestic Associate, Consumer, Paper Mill, and International categories. Only firms recognized by ReMA shall be eligible. Subsidiary firms or any other type of operation that is not listed or recognized by ReMA national is not eligible.

b. Member Company must be in good standing with both ReMA national and the chapter, having satisfied all dues and assessments.

2. This award is open to young executives born on or after January 1, 1985.

3. Applicant should have minimum of 1 full-year in the industry.

Note: The award is open to current ReMA members. In addition, in any given year, one of the above criteria may hold more importance than another.

Deadline for entries is midnight EST on November 22, 2024.
