Ayden Hector WSU
Ayden Hector WSU is a name to remember as an accomplished athlete and a community servant with a heart of gold. Excelling in both academics and athletics, he has carved out a niche for himself at Colorado State University. His prowess on the football field is undeniable; despite having participated in just seven games, he received the highly esteemed all-conference honors as a defensive back for the Colorado State Rams. The 2022 season witnessed him stepping into a leadership role, directing the defense with steadfast focus. Accumulating 24 tackles and snagging three interceptions during the season, he has established himself as an invaluable asset to the team. One game that remains etched in memories is the encounter on October 7, 2022, where he demonstrated his football acumen with eight tackles, a crucial interception, and even returning that interception for a touchdown. As he looks to the future, he can hardly contain his enthusiasm for the upcoming 2023 season. With three more years of eligibility left, this young star's sky is the limit.

Yet, what truly distinguishes him is his commitment to making a difference off the field. While at Eastside Catholic in Washington, he initiated B.Box, a noble venture aimed at sending birthday packages to homeless shelters for teenagers. This compassionate act wasn't just a one-off; upon entering Colorado State, Ayden continued the initiative, working hand in hand with the campus food pantry. Moreover, his philanthropic spirit is manifested in his involvement in projects like Pick 6, where he utilizes flag football as a medium to instill leadership skills and healthy living habits in youngsters. He also partakes in Relay for Life, dedicating his time to raise funds for cancer research, and supports Tent City, an organization that aids those experiencing homelessness.
