Extension Funding Application
(To be completed by and reimbursed to the extending chapter or team.)

The Minnesota Women of Today Foundation has funds available to assist chapters, districts, and/or extension teams with an extension with a maximum of $150.00 per extension.

Up to $50.00 grant per extension can be applied for with the following guidelines being met:

1. An Intent to Extend Form must be on file with the Minnesota Extensions Director.
2. You may not apply for funding if you have received funding from another source for this extension.
3. Must have three (3) events scheduled with flyers/PR info completed and submitted with application.
4. Grant funds can be used for space rental, PR materials, supplies for M-events etc.
5. Applications will be reviewed by the state president and extensions director, then forwarded to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Women of Today Foundation for final approval and subject to availability of funds.

Up to $100.00 grant per extension can be applied for. The following guidelines must be met in order to qualify:

1. An Intent to Extend Form must be on file with the Minnesota Extensions Director.
2. The extension must be completed, new member names sent in, and dues paid.
3. You may not apply for reimbursement if you have received funding from another source covering the expenses you are requesting payment for (district, national).
4. The application must be complete and must be filed within six (6) months of completion of the extension.
5. Original receipts must accompany this application.
6. Applications will be reviewed by the state president and extensions director, then forwarded to the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Women of Today Foundation for final approval and subject to availability of funds.

Responses to the online form will be viewed by the State Extensions Director, and the MNWT State President by due date. Upon completion of the form, click Submit; you will receive a confirmation screen if your form has been successfully submitted. (rev 2020)

  • Enter the names of all those responsible for the Extension
  • Explain why you need the grant and what you plan to do with the funds. Be specific, is request for funds needed to hold m-events to complete the extension or expenses after the extension is completed.
  • Enter the dates and event names that are scheduled or have been held and how money will be/was spent.
  • Enter any income or monetary donations received; How much and from whom? How were the funds used?
  • FOR THE $50 GRANT: Attach flyers/PR info completed for the three (3) separate events.
    FOR THE $100 GRANT: Original receipts must accompany this application.
