Camp Scherman offers a Counselor-In-Training 1 program for high school Girl Scouts interested in becoming camp counselors. Part of their training includes working with campers ages 7 - 13 years and each CIT1 assumes a share of the responsibility and leadership within the group.
The quality and integrity of the CIT 1's we select are very important to us. Campers are placed in the care of those we select, under the guidance of our staff. Your time in giving us an estimate of the abilities, attitudes, maturity, and ethics of this applicant is appreciated, not only by us, but by the parents who entrust us with the care of their campers.
