AAS Fieldwork Request

In accordance with Section 12.3 of the Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) Policy Handbook, fieldwork entitlement is available to students enrolled in a Master's by research, a PHD or a Master's by course work program which has a research component, where fieldwork is a compulsory component.

Submit this form is you are requesting for a field work/field trip within your Australia Awards Scholarship duration.

- Detailed itinerary including proposed dates of travel, places conducting fieldwork
- Supervisor arrangements and contact details during fieldwork
FIELDWORK CONDITIONS

1. Fieldwork must be undertaken in Australia or in the student’s country. In exceptional cases, fieldwork undertaken in another country will be considered by DFAT

2. Fieldwork must be undertaken during the duration of student’s scholarship period and must not result in an extension to the scholarship.

3. The maximum period which may be approved for fieldwork is 12 months
