Please read.
- This program is intended for unowned, stray/feral cats. If it is suspected that you own the cat, surgery fees may apply.
- All cats will receive an ear tip during surgery. No exceptions will be made.
- Cats must arrive for surgery in a live trap provided by FAHS, NOT a carrier, container, or third-party live traps.
- Assistance is provided first to those who are able to transport cats here for surgery and back for release.

I understand
To ensure our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program runs smoothly, we ask a few questions to understand your specific situation and determine the support you may need. Confirming the location helps us prioritize Fairfield County residents, as our resources are dedicated to the community here. The number of cats allows us to allocate resources effectively, plan surgical slots, and coordinate trap availability. Knowing if you are familiar with handling traps ensures safe and humane care for the cats. Additionally, identifying the person responsible for feeding the cats not only increases the chances of successful trapping but also allows us to coordinate with their established feeding routine, which helps us time the trapping more effectively. Your ability to transport cats for surgery and release is also important, as it helps us prioritize participants who can independently manage transportation while providing assistance to those who need extra support.
