MACS is currently offering the following charter school board trainings:

1] Board Training Course 100 (In-Person/On-Site)
2] Board Training Course 200 (Online)

Board Training Course 100: Welcome to the World of Charter School Governance

This in-person, on-site* training covers the charter school board’s roles and responsibilities, open meeting law, and data practices law.

Member Schools: $110 per person** + mileage
Non-Member Schools: $135 per person** + mileage

*Course 100 training requests must be made at least 30 days in advance so our team has time to prepare for the training.

**A minimum of five (5) registered participants are required to schedule a training.

Board Training Course 200: Charter School Finances - A Public Trust
This online* training explores how to ensure adequate resources, provide financial management and oversight, and maintain public accountability.

Member Schools: $75 per person
Non-Member Schools: $100 per person

*Participants will have ten (10) days to complete the course asynchronously. Courses are typically offered monthly during the school year.
