2024-2025 Newton Cantonese School (NCS) Registration Form
The 2024-2025 NCS school year will be
In-Person and Online
. Classes will start on September 7, 2024 and run to June 7, 2025. Students can enroll for the Conversation track with the emphasis on speaking or for the Literacy track with emphasis on reading and writing in the traditional form. The classes and activities that are being offered are:
30 Language Classes In-Person
: Saturdays 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
$750 - early tuition, payment must be received/postmarked on or before 6/30/2024
$800 - tuition after 6/30/2024
30 Extracurricular Classes In-Person
: Saturdays 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM, 11:45AM - 12:45 PM
$100 - (45 minutes) Table Tennis and Jr. Table Tennis
$600 - (60 minutes) Martial Arts/Kung Fu, Chinese Dance, Art Drawing, etc.

For 2024-2025 school year planning purposes please enroll and pay as soon as possible to reserve your class placement. Once class times are determined for online classes, families will be notified via email and class materials will be mailed out. For in person classes, class materials will be given on the first day of class.

There is a referral credit given to the NCS referring family of $50 per new family. The maximum referring credit per school year per referring family is $100 and the referring credit will be applied to the following school year. If the current year is the referring family's last year at NCS, a check will be given to the family in the same year. The new family must be enrolled for a minimum of 3 weeks in order for the referring family to receive the referral credit.
NCS has many activities throughout the school year and we welcome all parents/guardians who can participate or become committee group planning leaders.

Parent Duty Requirement
Parent Duty is required for helping our nonprofit mainly volunteer staffed school to function smoothly and to help keep costs down. Each family will be assigned certain days to help out.
If you cannot help with parent duty, please use pulldown to add $45 to the tuition ($45 per family).
If you are an adult student or the student belongs to a NCS staff member please use pulldown to choose "Adult Student/NCS Staff."
If you paid $45 under another registration please use "Waiving Parent Duty $45 paid under another registration"
