Project Scope:
Select Nauto customers will begin beta testing our new N4 device. The N4 device will be installed alongside their existing N2 or N3 device. Both units will be active. Once the beta testing cycle has been completed, their vehicles will be upgraded to the N4 device and the old device will be removed.

Installation Requirements:
The N4 device should be installed as a new device.
Installs will be run through the installer app as a New Installation.
Mounting location will be best available, while retaining a legal position.

Existing device is not to be touched during the N4 installation process.
Current device gets priority mounting location
N4 power connections can be shared with existing N2/N3 power connections
Independently fused

Mounting:
When viewing the real-time images in the installer app, pay attention to the following:
Clear unobstructed view of the driver
Manipulate the drivers visor and ensure rear view mirror is in normal operating position
Image to include top of drivers head, to drivers lap, including hands on steering wheel
Attempt to keep the camera close to the center of the glass

Additional Information:
If additional services are required during your scheduled visit, a vehicle list will be provided. This vehicle list will indicate what vehicle also needs a service provided. These services will be a RMA device swap, and/or a device position remount. If a device remount is required, the vehicle list will indicate why the current position is bad, to assist in correcting the position.
N2/N3 device swap
If the vehicle has been designated to have a RMA device swapped performed, process this swap independently from the N4 installation.
Process RMA swap within the installer app as “Replace a Defective Device”
Verify power connections and fuse are in working order. If so, reuse existing connections
N2/N3 Remount
If the vehicle has been designated to require a remount, process this remount independently from the N4 installation.
Ensure the N2/N3 remount gets priority placement over the N4.
Process the remount within the installer app as “New Installation”
This will allow live viewing of camera images for proper placement.
Each vehicle will have the reason why it's obstructed, to assist in deciding the new location.
