Itemized Costs-
Retainers, Deposits, Payments & Taxes:

In order to reserve your date, a NON-REFUNDABLE Booking Retainer of $200.00 plus tax, or 50% of your total whichever is less, is due upon receipt and will be applied towards your order total. To guarantee your order, a payment of 50% of the order total is due at least 120 days prior to wedding date (INVOICE DATE), or within 24 hours of invoice receipt of invoice if less than 120 days with the balance to be paid in full 60 DAYS prior to wedding date (DUE DATE).

A late payment fee of $50 will be added to the amount due for any order without a 50% payment made by INVOICE DATE.
A late payment fee of 20% of the total will be added to all orders not paid in full by DUE DATE
WEDDING ORDERS NOT PAID IN FULL 55 DAYS PRIOR TO WEDDING DATE WILL BE CANCELLED AND ALL MONIES PAID WILL BE FORFEITED AS WE HAVE RESERVED THIS DATE FOR YOUR EVENT AND PURCHASED ALL NECESSARY MATERIALS AT THAT POINT.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe is not responsible for bodily injury, property or consequential damage, which may result from services.
2. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe is not responsible for any damage to the cake or shortage of cake caused by anyone NOT employed by Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe.
3. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe will not deliver a cake if payments have not been paid in full.


Fulfillment of Contract:

1. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe is not responsible for any delay or inability to deliver based on accidents, natural disasters, transportation issues, inclement weather, illness, death, labor troubles, delay in supplies, disputes or strikes, or any other circumstance beyond Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe’s control.
2. If Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe has completed the cake but it can’t be delivered due to uncontrollable circumstances, the Client will be refunded % of the total cost.
3. If Client picks up the cake, Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe no longer assumes any responsibility for damage caused to it.


Postponement/Cancellation:

Wedding orders cancelled 60 days or less of wedding date forfeit any payment made as the date is closed out for only your order and no other orders will be taken for your day.
Wedding orders cancelled 61-90 days prior to wedding date will receive refund of payments made MINUS 50% of your order total to cover expenses made and loss of booking by holding your date/slot.
Wedding orders cancelled 91 days or more prior to wedding date will receive a full refund of any monies paid excluding the non-refundable Booking Retainer.
Refunds are processed via same method of payment received, upon confirmed receipt of written cancellation from the customer.
In the event of a nation-wide or "state of emergency," that causes events to be canceled or postponed by you or the event coordinator, we will allow one reschedule within 6 months of the event date & based on our calendar availability, however there will be a $50 fee for contract changes and loss of use of your original date. Dates over 6 months but no more than 13 months, from original event date, if available for rescheduling, will also incur 10% surcharge, and each additional rescheduling will incur an additional $50 administrative fee and surcharge. No refunds are allowed; only a store credit will be provided towards the new date, however, you will not have to pay a new retainer. There is no penalty or extra fees for initial change unless you desire to upgrade or increase the original products paid for. Cancellations will default to our cancellation policy based on original event date.


Refunds will be processed via PayPal or matching method of payment upon confirmed receipt of written notice of cancellation from customer. Please note PayPal can take 3-5 business days to post to your PayPal account.


Changes to Order:

1. Any changes must be submitted 91 or more days in advance of the event date.
2. There will be no changes allowed 90 days prior to the event.


Design of the Cake:

1. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe will follow the Client’s requests closely to create the cake desired.
2. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe cannot duplicate an exact copy of another cake artist’s work but will ensure the look is similar.


Serving Amount & Sizes:

1. The serving size is inches wide inches long inches high.
2. Serving size estimations are not guaranteed to be exact.
3. Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe is not responsible for a shortage of cake if the pieces are cut too large.

Our products can contain Dairy, Wheat, Eggs, Soy & Imitation Almond Extract. May also contain Tree Nuts, Berries, Citrus or Food Coloring. We do use allergen items in our bakery, it is your responsibility to advise of any allergies we need to be aware of at time of order.
