On Wednesday, April 21 the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee is hosting a hearing called “In Their Own Words: Paid Leave, Child Care, and an Economy that Failed Women.”

The hearing will feature testimony from five mothers – and one of them, Rebecca, is a family child care educator in New York.

They will speak about their experiences and we can’t wait to cheer them on!

NAFCC will put family child care providers’ words into written testimony for the record, which means U.S. Representatives on the Committee, and their staff, will have a chance to read your words.

At NAFCC, our role is to make space for you to be heard everywhere decisions are made.
