Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe Custom Cake Contract
Before submitting an order form, read this form thoroughly and in its entirety then sign below to confirm that you agree with our policies.
LOGISTICS:
• Hours of operation: Tuesday thru Saturday by appointment ONLY.
• CLOSED ON SUNDAY & MONDAY.
• CLOSED ON ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS.
ORDERING:
• PLEASE NOTE: Order minimum is $100.00
• Order and payment communications are sent via email, please check your email frequently and respond in a timely manner. Invoices not paid by the due date will be canceled.
• Order menu is CUSTOM CAKES AND CUPCAKES ONLY! We do not offer items that are not listed on the order form.
• Please allow up to 48 hours response time when inquiring/ placing an order.
• Order Inquiries/ Quote Requests can be submitted via the designated inquiry/ quote form.
• Orders must be placed a minimum of 3 or more weeks in advance. It's strongly suggested to order ahead of time to ensure the date requested is available. Be prepared to submit your payment when you place your order. Invoices are sent via PayPal.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
RUSH ORDERS:
• Orders placed between 5-14 days before the due date will be charged a rush fee. The rush fee is 25% of the order total.
• All RUSH orders are based upon open availability and are not guaranteed.
PAYMENT:
• A non-refundable PAYMENT is due when your order is placed. Orders UNDER $200 require FULL PAYMENT. Orders OVER $200 requires a 50% deposit with the balance due 14 days prior to the pick up date. You will recieve a PayPal invoice for you to review and pay. Invoices should be paid within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. Unpaid invoices will be canceled.

• Payments processed through PayPal have a 5% service fee.
• Sales tax: Illinois sales tax is applied to all orders except for tax exempt entities.
• Prices are non-negotiable. SCSS withdraws from offering discounts of any kind and prefer to maintain fixed prices that are firm and equal for all prospects.
• Invoices are sent via email from PayPal.
• Order and payment communications are via email, please check your email frequently and respond in a timely manner. Invoices not paid by the due date will be canceled.
REFUNDS, CANCELLATION & CREDIT:
• Due to offering customized services, which are made-to-order as well as items that are not in-stock and readily available all orders are deemed non-refundable. we can only take so many orders per month. With that being said, no refunds are given.
• If an order is cancelled, the payment made on your order is non-refundable. Notification of cancellation must be made via email 10 or more days prior to the pick up date. We will be happy to transfer any payment made on the order to another order within 30 days from that date of cancellation. A 10% cancellation fee will be withheld from your total credit amount. No credits will be issued for cancellations made with less than 10 days notice (no exceptions).
SERVING SIZE:
• Servings per cake is an estimation and not guaranteed to be exact.
PICK UP/ DELIVERY:
• CURBSIDE PICK.... Orders should be picked up on the day & time agreed upon.
• DELIVERY... when available, cost varies and are dependent upon the delivery location.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:
• SCSS doesn't copy others work. Pictures can be used as an inspiration. Designs can slightly differ, but will be as close as possible to the inspirational photo.
• Requested designs that are exact replications of copyrighted material are not accepted.
• All of our delectables are photographed and shared on our website as well as our social media platforms.
LIABILITY:
• Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe is not liable for damage to a cake not caused by Suga Coated Sweet Shoppe, property damage, guest injury, harm caused by eating non edible accessories, post pick up damage, or allergic reactions.
DO NOT SMASH FACES AGAINST A CAKE! Most of our products have support dowels inside that could cause harm.
• IMPORTANT FOOD ALLERGY INFO: Each of our products are made with the freshest ingredients available to us. We cannot guarantee that all products have not come in contact with any allergens. All items are prepared in the same kitchen. If you have an allergy to nuts or any other ingredient we do not recommend consuming our products. If you have an allergy it is your responsibility to notify us of that issue prior to placing an order.
