We encourage our fosters to take the dogs out in public once they get to know them and they have the basics down, such as leash manners and being under control.
*And as long as they are healthy and not at risk of spreading or contracting anything. We can provide a list of local businesses that allow pets! This is a great way to socialize them and work on exposure to new sights and sounds. *

Are you willing to work with a dog/puppy who is not fully potty trained and may not know any commands? Some of our dogs come from shelters or have been strays and have never been inside a home before. *

Can you commit to fostering for up to 3 months? Any upcoming trips? Fostering can vary from a week to several months. If you have an upcoming trip planned and cannot take the foster with, we can plan to move them while you're away. *

This application is not a guarantee that you will be approved. And is in no way a binding contract. This is for informative purposes only to help us find the best foster match for your family, lifestyle and activity level. We require a home visit before fostering to meet you in person and just make sure it is a safe environment for the dogs. Everything we do is in the best interest of our dogs and we work to find committed fosters and forever homes for each and every one of them.

Rehoming is very hard and stressful on these dogs, especially the ones who come from the shelters or have been bounced around already. However there are times it is just not a good fit with the foster dog. We will work with you to make sure this is a good experience! We provide all supplies needed to foster. And welcome donations from fosters as well, such as food and toys while fostering.
