  • Request a Document is Reviewed for Accessibility

    PDF and Word documents should never be used for ordinary content. In other words, if content can be presented as part of a webpage, it should be. But if you must publish a Word or PDF file to the website, it must still legally meet all accessibility requirements.

    Each department is responsible for their own Word or PDF documents. You may remediate them yourself or outsource them to a third party for remediation.

    No documents will be posted to the website unless they meet any and all accessibility requirements.
  • Requesting a Video

    When you request a video, MarCom will reach out to you to meet and discuss the details. You may be asked to coordinate times, as well as students and staff for interviews. The project may take 4-6 weeks, depending on your availability and type of video.
  • Requesting a Bio Page

    Please be advised that most Colleges, Schools and departments utilize biography pages for only front-facing full-time faculty and staff.
  • Note: if we are editing a specific page, copy and paste the URL. If a new web page, simply include the URL of where you think it belongs.
  • You can submit one or more files, including PDF, Microsoft Office and common image formats (jpg, jpeg, png, gif, tif)
  • Professional portrait images please.
    Size minimum: 200px x 300px. Larger is better.
    Accepts: .png .jpg only.
  • Such as Associate Professor, Instructor, Assistant Professor etc

  • You can answer questions like:
    1. How long have you been at Detroit Mercy, and what did you do before you came here?
    2. Are you a Detroit Mercy alumnus (if so, what did you study and when did you graduate)?
    3. What do you do in your free time?
    4. What do you like best about Detroit Mercy?
    5. What is Detroit Mercy's best kept secret?
    6. What motivates you in your work on a daily basis?
  • PDF or Word doc only. It must meet WCAG 2.2 Accessibility guidelines in order to be posted on the website.
