  • The Citizen Self-Reporting System is available for you to use in non-emergency incidents. If a crime is in progress or if this is an emergency, dial 911.

    To file a Citizen Self-Report Form online, the incident must have occurred within the City of Brunswick Division of Police jurisdiction. If the incident did not occur within the City of Brunswick Division of Police jurisdiction, you will need to file a report where the incident occurred.

    You can use this online form to report the following:

    -- Annoying/Scam/Obscene Phone Calls
    for documentation only with no known suspects or loss of money or property

    -- Civil Dispute
    Custody issues (documentation of events for court), joint property (small claims), not of criminal nature (for civil family court), etc.

    -- Damage to Property
    Intentionally causing damage to any physical property less than $1,000 in value belonging to another without consent

    -- Landlord/Tenant Trouble
    Lease terms, rental agreements, rights and responsibilities reference civil disputes between both parties

    -- Lost Property
    Not including guns or license plates

    -- Neighbor Trouble

    -- Stolen Bicycle

    -- Thefts with a total value under $1,000
    For documentation purposes with no known suspects

    -- Theft from auto with a total value under $1,000
    For documentation only with no known suspects

    Once you have successfully submitted the Self-Report Form online, it will be reviewed as soon as possible. Once the report has been approved you will receive an email with a copy of the official City of Brunswick Division of Police document which will become the official police report for this incident.

    If you have insurance coverage, this form may assist you in filing a claim. Please note that you must include your full name and birthdate for the report to be officially filed. We will contact you if additional information is needed.
