We are Leadership Florida - a statewide community of leaders working for a better Florida. We are committed leaders who work to build community in our state and better Florida for generations to come. Every member can be a philanthropist and #BeTheOne to strengthen Leadership Florida by participating in the 2018 Giving Challenge, a 24-hour online giving event.

Between noon on May 1 and noon on May 2, Leadership Florida will be one of 625 non-profits participating in the #GivingChallenge18. The 2018 Giving Challenge is presented by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County with giving strengthened by The Patterson Foundation.

If you participate the Community Foundation of Sarasota County will match your contribution up to $100. For example, if you make a tax-deductible contribution of $100, your donation will be doubled for a total of $200 to make #LeadershipFloridaStrong. Minimum $25 donation to receive the match. 100% tax-deductible.

Each one of us has the potential to impact a Floridian, build trusting communities, and be catalysts for creating new opportunities for our state through our powerful connections with one another and the extended reach of our organization. Your investment will be multiplied by the collective strength of all the donations, and allow for the continued gathering of Florida leaders!

We know you are passionate about two things, our beautiful Sunshine State and Leadership Florida. We are too, and want to see who really has the most passion with a friendly competition between Leadership Florida Regions and Class Programs. At the 2018 Annual Meeting we will have a "but for" surprise for the Leadership Florida Class that has the highest percentage of participation, Leadership Florida Class with the most donated, and Region that has the most participation & donations.

Help us kick-off this challenge by nominating a fellow Leadership Florida member to match (or beat) your donation pledge! When you provide their contact information below, we'll send them an email (maybe even a Tweet) letting them know that they have been challenged. We'll also send a reminder during the Giving Challenge to encourage them to accept your challenge.
