WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS
Writing for Children: Writing children's books is not about dumbing down, but exploring the mysteries the adult eyes seem to have forgotten how to see. Learn some of the tricks of melding story with illustration.
Creating a Sense of Space: Space is not just a backdrop in fiction, it's as important as the characters you build. Work on reeling in your readers by creating a believable stage that draws in imagination and refined details and gives your character a tangible place to perform.
Defining and Developing Characters: All the great works of fiction have well-defined characters. Learn how to create believable, three-dimensional characters with internal complexities and physical nuances.
